Sunday 28th July 2024 - Dog Show starting at 11.30am, Duck Race at about 2pm
This year, our Fun Dog Show and Duck Race is on Sunday 28th July. The whole day is loads of fun! It is held on the campsite and adjacent field opposite Clapton Farm, just outside Crewkerne (TA18 8PR). The Dog Show will start at 11.30am and the Duck Race at about 2pm.
The Fun Day consists of a relaxed Dog Show in the morning, and then in the afternoon, we release MANY plastic ducks onto the river, all of which are numbered and have been bought by everyone there, as well as other people in the area. First Prize for the Duck Race is £100, with 5 other prizes of £10 each. Ducks can be bought on the day, but keep your eyes peeled for Lions in Falkland Square in the weeks running up to the event!
There are also many other things to make the day a lot of fun - a bouncy castle, games, stalls, a cake tent, food and lots of merriment!!
